Her Facebook post is as follows:

"I was 10 when I lost my father, and mum fell sick. The responsibility of her and my younger sister fell on me. I quit school and began working at a factory in West Bengal's Kolkata district. But the factory shut down, and I was worried sick. So when Kakoli Biswas, a woman who commuted with me by train, offered me a job in Haldia which is an industrial city in Kolkata – I was thrilled! On our way there, she gave me tea and cake; shortly after which I fainted. Later, I woke up in Pune, a city in Maharashtra. She dropped me off at a house, with 30 other girls there. They said to me, 'You've been sold to Badi didi (elder sister).

Before I could say more, Badi Didi said : “You have to sleep with all the boys who come here.”

"I refused to do so. The woman(Badi didi) bashed me with an iron shaft and locked me up…. The torture continued for two months until I said yes. After, I'd work from 7am to 11pm and was made to sleep with 10-12 men every day. ….All night, I'd think of my mum and cry. I did try to escape, but the main door was well guarded. I even tried using a customer's phone to call my chacha( uncle), but she caught me…. After a few months, I found out that one of my customers was a policeman. So I pleaded with him for help. After a while, he handed me a train ticket to Kolkata and asked me to go back home. He convinced the woman that he wanted to take me to his place and instead left me at the station. He even gave me Rs3000 (Dh150). I reached home and met my mum after six years."

Replying to this shocking incident, another Facebook user Vinayashree Sridhar posted: "… heartbreaking story. I wish and pray that your wounds heal and you live in peace the rest of your life. I have no more words to say as I am so privileged to have a safe environment. God bless you, my girl."
