In case you weren’t quite sure about this one, Indian yoga guru Baba Ramdev has done you a favour and found the answer: Yoga atop an elephant is NOT a good idea.
Twitter exploded in a shower of comments when a video showing the yoga master exercising was posted. In the clip he is seen atop the pachyderm stretching and getting ready for more complicated postures when his ride moves.
The tumble ensues. Ramdev, who was at the Ramnareti Ashram in Mahavan, Mathura, when his plot failed on October 12, is reportedly uninjurted. [Well, unless you count the bruise to his pride.]
"I want to inform crores of followers of Ramdev that Swamiji is fine. The elephant incident was an amusing one. Do not worry. He has done four hours of live yoga yesterday and today," tweeted Tijarawala SK, Ramdev's spokesperson.
As the video went viral on social media some showed concern for the TV personality others were more afraid for the elephant and hoping it wasn’t hurt.
Sadly, this isn’t the first time this year that Ramdev has been caught on tape fumbling. In August, he was riding a bicycle when he lost his balance.
